Task requirements

Employer Comments:
1.  Evening and weekend working will be required in support of Army Reserve Training (typically one evening per week and one weekend per month), including transporting recruits to training establishments.
2.  Must be prepared to travel  within the R Mon RE(M) geographical AOR which includes South Wales, West Midlands and Channel Islands.

Position Role
Recruiting, Mentoring and Support Officer (ReMSO) responsible for recruiting and developing recruits until completion of Phase 1 training.

Responsibilities
1.  Support, mentor, and nurture candidates through the end-to-end recruitment process from first contact through to attestation and the end of Phase 1 training through DRS, maintaining close liaison with NRC to facilitate this.
2.  Assist with the development and refinement of the recruiting process through the Regimental Recruiting and Retention Plan (RARP).                    
3.  Conduct and update the Unit’s IPRE on a regular basis to best target, attract, recruit and nurture suitable candidates.                                                   
4. Act as the first point of contact for all new joiners, including ex-regulars and re-joiners.                                                                                                                   
 5. Manage the relationship with the recruits, RRMTs, Sub-Unit CoC, RHQ, Employers and Organisations, Candidate Support Managers, ARITC and all other stakeholders.
6. Nurture and assist applicants through to all required courses including basic & trade training and assist the Sub-unit with G1 administrative tasks.
7. Manage resources and material to support recruitment and retention, including media and social media. 
8.  Command, coordinate and execute recruiting events ensuring all Engage to Recruit (EtR) activity is in accordance with wider Army Policy, RARP and higher formation led EtR activity.
