Task requirements
1. Provide G4 and SHEF support to the Sqn in the Firm Base and in the field including ACT.
2. Manage/maintain Sqn G4 capability including arms, ammunition, rations, FLIG, COSHH, SHEF and supporting contracts in line with service policies.
3. SP the QM Dept in preparation for all assurance activity (e.g. LEA, LSA&I, ASEMSA, Tech Eval, Fire and FHPA).
4. Manage and control the Sqn's material accounts/AinUs including EE, MSA, Clothing, expense and non-public property on Sqn charge in accordance with current regulations.
5. Control and management of the various Sqn key areas including: Sqn armoury which includes accountability, security, serviceability, issue and receipt and allocation of all weapons and ancillaries held on charge.
6. Sqn Radiation Workplace Supervisor, Sqn Fire SNCO, and responsible for internal and external examinations and Sqn Works Service manager, responsible for reporting and monitoring all building faults and general safety matters.
7. Deputy 4C’s site manager assisting the 4C’s Manager in liaising with all site contractors, visitors and ensuring a safe working site and environment for site personnel.
8. Advise the OC and QM on all G4 matters relating to the Sqn.

Use of modern military IX systems (JAMES, MUSTER, MJDI) and word/excel are key to the role.
Previous experience of serving in 16 AABCT is highly desirable.

144 Para Med Sqn a busy sub unit that is spread across the country. The applicant must be willing work up to 12 weekends per year including deployment into the field and participation in ACT. Previous service in 16 Bde is highly desirable and G4 SQEP is absolutely essential.
