Task requirements
This is a Ops/Trg/Admin Sp NCO Volunteer Reserve role in a Nationally Recruited Unit. 38x RSDs will be initially allocated, there will be opportunities for more.
RE Wks Gps deliver specialist force and close support Infrastructure Support to the Air, Land, Logisitc, Maritime and Special Forces Components and OGDs within the Land environment on order to support theatre entry, sustained operations and recovery; support to UK Resilience; and Defence Engagement.
Each role will support a Specialist Team Royal Engineers (STRE), which each have an established strength of approx 40.
The job holder will:
1. Ensure STRE personnel are able to undertake training activities by the maintenance of mandatory pre-training requirements.
2. Assist in the planning and delivery of training.
3. Support operational capability by ensuring STRE personnel maintain a deployable status.
4. Produce effective OSW to support STRE training and deployments.
5. Act as a liaison for STRE personnel and key enabling staff.

Desirable competencies
ITR Instructor
Prior G1, G3 or G7 experience.
Experience of LUMS applications.
Experience of MySeries Apps.
