Task requirements

Position Role:  HC Change is a newly established team that will lead the HLB Change Programme Management Office on behalf of Comd HC. The Implementation team sits within it, and is responsible for the delivery of discrete projects and activities within the broader remit, including IRONSIDE, Base Security, Access Control, and other projects. The team will be HLB lead for a project delivery and management of high-profile Army betterment and efficiency projects. The branch will be the key interlocutor to D Info, D Pers, D B&I and to the DLOD leads in Army HQ, HQ Fd Army and the HC BLBs, and all other stakeholders, and delivering on direct behalf of COS and Comd HC. 

Responsibilities:

    1. Support the Programme Management Office in the delivery of Pj IRONSIDE activities.
    2. Work with commercial infra/tech delivery solutions to enable access control pilot site delivery.
    3. Provide scheduling and resource management support and elevating issues for resolution as required.
    4. Support the integration of Pj IRONSIDE into the HC Plan, ensuring alignment with routine HC delivery activity, Army People Plan, Army Data and Digital Plan and Army Infrastructure Plan.
    5. Represent HC on Army HQ staff level WGs where appropriate.
    6. Support stakeholder and communications management across the command, wider Army HQ, Fd Army &other TLBs.
    7. Support other HC activity, as directed by SO1 and AH Implementation.

Essential competencies

Desirable competencies

CWC/JOTAC - Staff experience in any environment useful.

MoP, MSP, PLP useful (can be completed fol arrival)

An understanding of defence resourcing, commercial, infrastructure and programming processes.

Ops/Sp/Pers - A generalist by background is more important than specific trade experience.

MOD/Army HQ - An understanding of the current AOM and associated TLB processes is valuable.
