Notes:
CVs can be uploaded with .doc, .docx or .pdf file extensions.
.rtf files cannot be accepted on the system. For new Members, the CV will be used to create an initial account which, once verified, will create a link to enable you to register and complete a full List account; you will not be able to apply for a job, or network, until you have done so.
For existing Members, provided the e-mail address you use above corresponds to that already recorded in your account, the new CV will be added to your account. Additionally uploading a CV will be taken as your agreement to our data management policy and terms.
Eligibility to Join: You must be a serving or former member, including the reserves, of the UK Armed Forces to be able to join The List. Exceptionally, we do permit non-UK forces people, who have been embedded within the UK Armed Forces, to join: if you fall into this latter category please Contact Us before registering.
Registration is free and easy and provides access to additional facilities within this site.

Leadership and Development Wing 2IC City of Edinburgh UOTC
Unit Role: Unit Role: To develop the leadership potential of selected university students through enjoyable and challenging training, raising awareness of the Army's ethos and building interest in its career opportunities; in order to secure their commitment, whether as officers or as future leaders in their chosen profession, to champion the Army in society
Position Role: To support the OC in delivering the requirements of the Leadership role of the Coy.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver creative training opportunities and activities by applying innovative thought process. 2. Identify and mitigate risk at all levels of planning and delivery. 3. Support the units annual Recruitment process with the intent to Attract a broad and diverse cohort of quality students. 4. Facilitate good working relationships through understanding people and effective social skills to support collaboration. 5. Identify and demonstrate personal and professional development opportunities for self and others. 6. Provide advice and support to OCdts looking to conduct further military service in either the Regular or Reserve Force. 7. Lead or support tasks as directed by the OC or XO in support of Coy and UOTC core business.
Essential competencies
Prior to or soon after TOS, attend Sandhurst Staff Context Course.
Desirable competencies
Any AT qualifications desirable.
Previous experience of training establishment would be beneficial .
Selection Process
Post will be boarded on 51X Regional Appointment Board (RAB) after the closing date.

Domestic Considerations:
RSDs - Minimum of 44 RSDs p.a. More may be available.
Late night (Trg Night) Wednesday. BPT work 7+ training weekends during University term time. Deploy on 16 day ADX in June.
