Task requirements

Domestic Considerations: Must be within a manageable commute to Brighton/Eastbourne, East Sussex and able to travel on duty, as required, for residential courses and exercises, including on overseas OTX. Normal routine working office hours are 0830-1700hrs Mon-Fri but, must be prepared to flexibly work outside these hours to provide support to the unit. Should expect to attend unit annual training camps up to 16 days, which may include weekends if required.

Responsibilities:
1. Manage and Direct the Unit recruiting pipeline including the administration and mentoring of specialist applicants.
2. Actively assist with the development and refinement of a dynamic recruiting process.
3. Conduct, review and maintain oversight of the Unit’s recruits on a regular basis.
4. Act as the first point of contact for all new joiners, including ex-regulars and re-joiners.
5. Manage the relationship with the NRC, ROSO, ACCs / AFCOs, Coy Comd & PSAO, Army employee support networks and WF Plans/Policy for all recruiting queries.
6. Nurture applicants from first contact through to attestation and the end of Basic Training and coordinate RRMT.
7. Manage resources and material to support recruitment and retention, including media and social media.
8. Carry out all other activities; as directed by the CoC and actively support community engagement activites.
9. Ensure all recruitment activity is in accordance with Policy.

Essential competencies

Pers experience working with amry recruits.

Must hold a Full UK Cat B driving licence.

Desirable competencies

Previous experience as soldier in the Army as a Regular or Reserve.

Knowledge of the Reserve training pipeline would be beneficial.
