Task requirements
Position Role: Principal staff advisor to the GOC on UK Ops.
Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise on all matters relating to military support to resilience and UK Ops training and UK Operations Policy.
- Training Delivery Authority (TDA) for UK Operations Training.
- Design and deliver UK resilience training to enable and assure JMC competency in delivering UK Ops, inc. Mission Rehearsal Exercises (MRX).
- Exercise Director/ Controller on MRX deputising for GOC.
- Develop, refine and deliver Overseas Base Resilience Assurance Exercises.
- Co-ordination and delivery of API (P)
- Oversee the coordination of training for pre-planned UK Ops as directed.
- Support wider Engagement Branch outputs as directed.

HQ RC is the 2* Command with a UK wide responsibility for delivering the Firm Base on behalf of PSC. The post requires a high calibre individual to undertake the demanding and challenging role with a wide-ranging portfolio, which will be influential in establishing future operating procedures for Firm Base delivery.

- Lead staff advisor on UK Resilience for 2*.
- Development and delivery of UK Resilience Training across UK and overseas in Brunei, Nepal and Germany.
- Those with extensive training, operational planning or UK Resilience experience would be well suited to the role.
