Task requirements

Unit Role: To force generate IRs for operations and conduct CE and 'Firm Base' activity within bdrys.

Position Role: Senior Reservist, advise CO, XO and Adjt on Res matter. Voice of the Reserves across the Bn

Responsibilities:

1. Assume command in absence of Commanding Officer.

2. Lead on Bn Training concept and delivery (assisted by XO); Define & Direct training; lead on conceptual

development.

3. Advise CO on all promotional matters within the Army Reserve and recommendation of Officer/SNCO plot.

4. Responsible for all RFCA matters: oversee / assist delivery of Bn Engagement Plan.

5. President of internal Audit Board of Service Funds.

6. Lead for Bn Reward and Recognition; internal, Bde/Div, Army and State honours and awards.

7. Battalion sports and Bn social events.

8. Design and deliver a Bn Joint Mess by 2022 (merger of Cpl, WOs&Sgts and Offrs Mess.
