Job Description
| Position Role: Responsible to the CO and in support of the OC for the timely day to day administration of A Coy across the whole spectrum of Bn and Coy business. Responsibilities: 1. Fulfil H&S responsibilities for the Coy working in conjunction with the site lead. 2. Duty Holder responsibilities for all A Coy personnel. 3. Responsible for ensuring that personal administration of all personnel on the strength of the Coy is completed in accordance with the UAM and direction from the RAO/RAWO. This includes the assurance of the Reserve Attendance Pay System for Reserve personnel in accordance with JSP 754 and RLF Regulations. 4. Be the Local Security Officer managing the Coy MODNET equipment. 5. Responsible for all G4 Infra issues; including the day-to-day management of the site, liaison with the local Vinci (RFCA) on matters relating to the maintenance of the site and facilitate assurance visits for the Coy, including G1, LEA, LSA&I, SHEF & Security. 6. Ensure that all info systems are maintained; including JPA, MODNET, PPS, PAPMIS, My HR & MUSTER. 7. Maintain Service Non-Public funds in accordance with Service Funds Regulations and as directed by the SFM and Internal Auditor. 8. Line Manager for all Civilian Staff within the Coy and provide administrative MS support to the Coy. 9. Sub-Unit Officer duties; being TRiM Focal Point, Press Officer, facilitate Compulsory Drugs Testing and carry out CNO duties as directed by the Adjt. 10. Provide general advice, guidance and support to the Coy PS and Reserve Management to aid the smooth running of the Coy including oversight of Coy Fire responsibilities. |
Essential Skills
| 1. Previous exerpeince in the Army either Regualr or Reserve. 2. Must be able to pass and SC level security clearence. 3. UK Cat B Driving Licence. |
Desirable Skills
| 1. Computer literate with good knowledge of LUMs application and JPA (Churchill, Muster, PPS) 2. All Arms Fund Manager qualified. 3. Career Manager qualified. 4. CNO qualified. 5. D&I practisioner. |

Additional information
| Domestic Considerations: Should live within 50 miles/ hours travelling distance from the AR Centre. Will be part of the Coy security call out if the Armoury alarm is initiated. Fulfilling a full range of duties based primarily at Ashford with a requirement to travel to Canterbury and other Battalion locations as and when directed by the XO or CO. Due to the nature of a Reserve unit, this appointment will include evening (Wednesdays) and occassional weekend work both in support of the Coy/Battalion. |
