Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and manage Kohima Coy G4 accounts as directed by the OC and the ATU QM.

2. Maintain and manage appropriate accommodation, buildings and stores as directed by the OC and the ATU QM.

3. Liaise with all internal and external G4 agencies as necessary.

4. Supervise and co-ordinate the issue of G4 stores to Permanent Staff and Recruits in barracks and on exercise.

5. Be the G4 lead for all sub-unit inspections, including LSIs, ECIs and Tour of Barracks.

6. Deputise for the Subunit Company Sergeant Major as required.

7. Conduct/deliver EC/SHE/Fire/G4 training to Training Teams (where qualified to do so).

8. Support PSAO in SHE Bldg/Fire custodian requirements including audit.

Essential Skills

AACQMS/RQMS qualification or equivalent.

Basic Care of Trainee (DLE online Cse).

MJDI/JAMES qualification held. Must achieve competency within 6 months of appointment. 

Must have recommendation for any instructional environment, including phase 1 training on SJAR and knowledgeable of Reserves Basic Training outputs.

Must be able to drive (CAT B).

Desirable Skills

DTc(A) - Must attend within 6 months of appointment. 

CAT D1/HGV licence advantageous.

SHE/Fire qualifications advantageous.

SRM (Risk Assessments) qualified advantageous. 

DCCT System Operator advantageous.

AA Drill Inst (Basic) advantageous.

Army Trainer Mentor/DSAT qualifications advantageous.

Selection Process

Familiarisation visit. Army Board Process.

Additional information

Provided with up to 88 RSD per annum, hopefully consisting of at least 15 Basic Training delivery weekends delivered fortnightly (flexible for right applicant). Ability to attend minimal annual weekday G4/SHE/EC meetings advantageous..
