Additional information
Applicants are to use their CV & PPP to draw out their transferable KSE&B which can support Ranger activities. The Ranger Reserve Screening (RRS) process provides insights to the wide range of KSE&B that are required of Reservists serving in ASOB. CV and PPP send to 3RANGER-ECOY-GROUP@mod.gov.uk.
This is a pivotal role to establish a new capability for the ASOB and Army Reserve. You will have a crucial role in this new capability as the Special Operations Brigade matures within Land Special Operations, a Tier 2 Special Operations capability optimised to operate below the threshold of war alongside and through specialised partners to deliver operational level insights and effects. It routinely operates in the functional and capability gap that lies between the conventional force and MAB, with greater sensitivity, an increased acceptance of risk and under greater secrecy. Most commonly it will operate against violent extremists in high threat environments and contest state competitors. It will also provide a platform for others as well as providing a vehicle for global offset action. It also has utility in countering asymmetric threats and enabling symmetric manoeuvre in conflict
