Unit & Position Role

Unit Function

The Training Management Group is a joint RN-industry organisation, providing the basis of a Whole Force approach to RN individual training delivery. The TMG is accountable for the effective and efficient governance, control and commercial delivery of the Selborne contract.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for arranging Engineering (ENG) Apprentice Assessments (AA) between the MIAA and Units.

 

  • Liaise with and support Training Coordinators and Onboard Assessors in the delivery of ENG AAs; quality assure and approve all ENG AA outcomes.

 

  • Maintain IQA Sampling Plans and conduct physical IQA observations on 5–10% of ENG AAs across locations.

 

  • Act as the lead Grading Assessor for ENG Apprentice Assessments.

 

  • Provide leadership, welfare, and divisional care to RN personnel, ensuring their development, discipline, and readiness are maintained.

 

  • Act as the MIAA sponsor of Units…
