Job Description

27 Reserve Training Days (RSDs) with possibly more available depending on operational needs and SP availability.


1.  Deliver trained Intelligence decision support to aligned formation or unit.
2.  Lead and manage Int cell effectively to deliver outputs.
3.  Integrate into the wider Army and Defence intelligence enterprise.
4.  Train and develop subordinates in intelligence techniques and procedures.
5.  Responsible to the CO as unit Intelligence Officer.
6.  Within deployed HQ, command the Red Team cell and assist the COS running the Wargame.
7.  Manager of Unit/ formation intelligence and counter intelligence applications ensuring operations can be achieved.
8.  Provide SME advice to the Comd Gp on Enemy capabilities and intentions, including possible Courses of action, across all elements of the Unit.

Essential Skills

1. JOTAC(LR)

2.  Unit Int Officer's Course (can be completed within first 3 months)

Desirable Skills

1. Army Reserve experience.
