Task requirements

Domestic Considerations, RSDsThe post offers a high attendance level and hybrid working days when appropriate, with the opportunity to work upwards of 48 days per year.  Working pattern can involve week days and weekends during modular and consolidated courses. Army Reserve post, based in YORK with occasional overnight duty required.

Position Role: To provide first aid within the BT environment. Provide medical training. Supply medical support on all kinds of exercise. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide medical support to all SP delivering and undergoing Basic Training (BT), specifically during exercise, PT and range serials.
  2. Deliver ‘Individual Health’ lessons as per CMS(R) Refine+ lesson plans to recruits during their BT.
  3. Provide emergency care to recruits and Military SP during the working hours.
  4. Provide medical cover for the Pass off Parade as directed by the training program.
