Job Description

Position Role: Welfare Warrant Officer. Under the direction of the UWO, provide welfare support for unit personnel and their families primarily at the base location.                                                                       Responsibilities:
1. In the absents of the UWO   - Conduct management of any welfare issues including any liaison with outside agencies.
2. The delivery of welfare support to unit personnel and the wider unit community.
3. Represent the UWO at Garrison/Station welfare meetings and with any external agencies.
4. Adhere personal and team adherence to the code of confidentiality policy for the records held.
5. Assist with Unit Welfare Standing Orders and Procedures in line with current policies.
6. Attend Unit Case Conferences.                                                               Domestic Considerations: 6 MI Bn is a hybrid unit, with Reserve sub-units partnered with Regular sub-units. Geographically dislocated there will be a requirement for the incumbent to adapt to changing working environments and to have the flexibility to periodically travel and support Bn level activities/exercises on weekends.  …
