Notes:
CVs can be uploaded with .doc, .docx or .pdf file extensions.
.rtf files cannot be accepted on the system. For new Members, the CV will be used to create an initial account which, once verified, will create a link to enable you to register and complete a full List account; you will not be able to apply for a job, or network, until you have done so.
For existing Members, provided the e-mail address you use above corresponds to that already recorded in your account, the new CV will be added to your account. Additionally uploading a CV will be taken as your agreement to our data management policy and terms.
Eligibility to Join: You must be a serving or former member, including the reserves, of the UK Armed Forces to be able to join The List. Exceptionally, we do permit non-UK forces people, who have been embedded within the UK Armed Forces, to join: if you fall into this latter category please Contact Us before registering.
Registration is free and easy and provides access to additional facilities within this site.

Domestic Considerations: This is a busy post requiring shift work over nights and weekends FTRS(HC) post. Position Role: Provide effective armed security guarding in order to prevent infiltration, attack or damage against property or personnel. Be prepared to react to any incidents as required. Responsibilities: 1. Responsible to the Ops Sgt for the day-to-day security and force protection of the military establishment. 2. Deputise and act as the Ops Sgt in his absence. 3. Respond to an incident in accordance with the Barrack Incident Plan (BIP). 4. Conduct rehearsals of the BIP in conjunction with the host Unit. 5. Conduct patrols and monitor the CCTV system, reporting (and reacting to) any suspicious activity. 6. Conduct training to ensure compliance with the NIGSU Training Directive. 7. Maintain and account for all equipment in accordance with the NIGSU EC Directive. 8. Maintain Security Awareness notice boards and disseminate NIGSAS information. 9. Perform other tasks as detailed by the Ops Sgt/CSM/OC NIGF. 10. Be prepared to cover gaps in guarding posts at other sites
