Job Description

Domestic Considerations: 60+ RSDs per year. Army Reserve post, supporting training events across the UK.

Position Role:  Sqn SO3 J3/5

Responsibilities:

1.  Support Sqn and Unit Planning at the Tactical Operational and Strategic level.                         

2.  Responsible for coordination and production of Squadron planning product and OSW.

3.  Ensure effective Operational Record Keeping in line with MAB Directives.

4.  Attend operational meetings and working groups at Sqn, Unit and x-MAB levels.

5.  Brief Op planning to CO, and exceptionally to 1/2* level.

6.  Act as a conduit between Unit J3/35/5 and Sub-Unit and with other MAB TGHQs.

7.  Support other Unit and Squadron activity as required.

Essential Skills

JCCC, CWC, JOTAC

DV or SC as a minimum.

Operational Experience

IT competent

Desirable Skills

PCBC

ICSC (L) or (LR)

Experience of working with MAB

Selection Process

AFE 07547 through to Army Appointments Board
