Job Description

Domestic Considerations: 60+ RSDs per year. Army Reserve post, supporting training events across the UK.

Position Role:  RHQ SO2 J3

Responsibilities:

1.  Support Unit Planning and execution at the Tactical Operational and Strategic level.                         

2.  Responsible for coordination and production of unit planning products and OSW.

3.  Ensure effective Operational Record Keeping in line with MAB Directives.

4.  Attend operational meetings and working groups at Sqn, Unit and x-MAB levels.

5.  Brief Op planning to CO, and exceptionally to 1/2* level.

6.  Act as a conduit between Unit J3/35/5 and Sub-Unit and with other MAB TGHQs.

7.  Support MAB3 staff level training, improve processes and procedures across the Unit.

8.  Support other Unit and Squadron activity as required.

Essential Skills

JCSC, CWC, JOTAC, ICSC (L) or (LR)

DV or SC as a minimum.

Operational experience.

IT competent

Desirable Skills

MAB experience.
