Job Description

A vacancy has arisen for a Wing Commander (Air and Space Operations – Air Ops (C)) to serve as National Representative (NATREP) at the National Air and Space Operations Centre (NASOC), RAF High Wycombe on Volunteer ex-Regular Reserve Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 06 July 2026 (or earlier/later, subject to candidate status).

Specific responsibilities include:

  • The execution of TACOM of national air policing (AP) operations iaw HQ Air Op Ord 18/20.
  • Supporting NATO AP operations iaw HQ Allied Air Command (AIRCOM) Suplan 11013D ‘Constant Effort’.
  • Co-ordinating and liaising with CAOC Uedem for NATO AP operations.
  • Acting as the national link to the Duty Minister during the conduct of NATO AP operations involving UK QRA assets.
  • Representing the NASOC in liaison and briefings across the Service and OGDs.
