Task requirements

Attend for up to 66 RSDs, directed by the CoC & Regimental Training Directive.

Maintain and service the vehicle’s various mechanical systems, in accordance with the relevant AESP.

Be capable of detecting and remedying simple faults.

Be proactive in your approach to driver maintenance, taking responsibility for tools and equipment issued to the driver.

Operate the VHF Bowman radio System.

Be capable of operating as a soldier first, ensuring a high level of dismounted skills and a professional mind set.

Driving the vehicle safely and tactically over cross country and roads.

Assist the Gunner & Commander in target detection on Ranges and Operations.

Maintain a good standard of health, fitness and stamina.

Carry out all other activities; as directed by the CoC.

Any additional Regimental or Squadron tasks as directed by the CoC.

Operating in accordance with and enforcing current tactical doctrine, regimental SOPs when in the field and on Ops.
