Task requirements

Position Role: Support delivery of Youth Outreach activities and Youth Engagement within 160th (Welsh) Bde AOR within the Third Sector.  

Responsibilities:

  1. Support delivery of Youth Engagement and outreach activities within the third sector utilising the Region Engagement Team (RET). Delivering STEM, Team building and Leadership activities.
  2. Maintain and develop contacts with third sector youth organisation  (Scouts, Guiding, ACF), to identify and deliver youth outreach activities.
  3. Support Employer Challenge days and other Engagement activities.
  4. Identify and develop virtual and physical Engagement techniques and activities for use by the RET and in wider Engt
  5. Support delivery of Wales Engt Quality Improvement Programme
  6. Assist with the execution of and training for other Bde tasks: UK Ops and Ex CP.
  7. Any other tasks and duties commensurate with the incumbent’s rank and experience. 

Essential competencies

The holder will deliver military lessons to prospective recruits.

Desirable competencies

Knowledge of STEM. The incumbent will engage in youth outreach activities. The post will be required to support full time Bde YEO where deployed. FAAW. Welsh Speaker.
