Task requirements
1. Responsible for the day to day running and management of the Quartermaster’s department. 2. Maintain a close liaison with the RQMS and Sub Account Holders providing advice and guidance as/when required. 3. Coordinate the preparation, management and execution of all mandatory external audits (LSA&I, LEA, Force Protection etc). 4. Supervise, control and record all internal managerial inspections. 5. Produce timely periodic 'Reports and Returns' and dispatch to the relevant authorities within the specified timelines. 6. Comply with all current regulations including the Defence Logistic Framework, Standing Orders, JSP's, DIN's. 7. Act as the Unit Safety Advisor, responsible for the implementation of Force and Environmental Protection (FEP) policy and guidance. Provide the CO with timely advice on all matters relating FEP. 8. Provision of G4 support to support all Unit outputs, including support to the Annual Deployment Exercise (ADX) and training weekends. 9. Ownership of the G4 Logistical plans to support the planned unit training programme. 10. Management of the units White Fleet assets. 11. Supervision of all associated MT documentation, to include ATUDs, investigation of unit RTA/RTI incidents. 12. Line Manager and 1RO for all G4 Military and Civilian staff. 13. Champion the Army Leadership Code at all times. |
Essential competencies
MUST be qualified in the following areas: QM USA DTM / MTO UEM I.T literate - MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint used routinely DE/LE Officer - Should have extensive service as an Army Officer |
Desirable competencies
Desirable quals: RSO JAMES MJDI UAA SFM Desirable competencies: CWC/JCSC(L) Sub Unit - Previous experience would add management depth of the OTC QM dept support team. Experience/knowledge of the Army Reserves and Commissioning process (desirable). |
