Task requirements

Position Role: Lead for AGC HQ engagement with AGC veterans and reserves ensuring the AGC HQ provides support to all its member past, present and future. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Drive the development and management of the AGC HQ Veterans strategy.
  2. Lead AGC engagement planning, refinement and assurance with key Target Audiences esp Young People, Gatekeepers, Influencers, Employers, Faith and other Communities. 
  3. Lead on and provide support to AGC Association income generation strategies. 
  4. In conjunction with AGC HQ Media and Comms manager support the production of Social Media Content and engagement with the whole of the AGC (Regular and Reserve).
  5. Develop the embryonic Regional AGC Association hubs broadening support to AGC veterans.
  6. Represent the Corps HQ at AGC, Army and civic events.
  7. Represent AGC HQ at Reserve conferences (Reserve Corps Col meeting etc)
  8. Provide staff support as required by Col AGC and COS AGC.



Essential competencies

ICSC(L) or ICSC(R)

IT Proficient

Grade 2 Staff experience.


Desirable competencies

Grade 1 Staff experience

Engagement and Media & Comms experience

Proficient on Social Media platforms

Additional information

National Reservists must conduct a minimum of 19 RSDs to qualify for Certificate of Efficiency however the successful candidate will be expected to offer considerably more, in order to fulfil this role, up to a maximum of 120.

The post is a hybrid mix of office based working in Worthy Down and remote working from home.
