Task requirements

Unit Role:  Reserve Light Cavalry Regiment.  To prepare suitably trained, equipped and motivated officers and soldiers for operations both overseas and in the UK in support of Regular units, as individuals and as contingents.

Position Role: Chef -To supervise the catering functions, both in the UK and potentially abroad, on exercises and operations.

Responsibilities:
1. Maintain excellent standards of personal, food and kitchen hygiene.

2. Ensure compliance to procedures, menu specifications and recipes.

3. Ration accounting.

4. Supervision of the provisioning system.

5. Achieving catering objectives within the catering management plan.

6. Monitoring of catering and associated cleaning contracts.

7. Supervision of allocated buildings and equipment.

8.. Assisting in the monitoring contract service delivery against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Essential competencies

1. Successfully passed the CC1 Course
2. Met with all previous trade course requirements as per RLC Trade training instructions.

Desirable competencies

1. Completed the JNCO ALDP / CLM
