Domestic Considerations: RSDs: 27 days with possibility of further being issued. Evening and weekend work required.


Post Role: Driver Comms Spec


Responsibilities:

1. To manage, supervise and provide CIS Communications support within a HQ environment at unit and/or sub-unit level.

2. Provide Communications Training throughout the Regiment.

3. Manage the Bowman Store and maintain the equipment as per the Unit Equipment Care Directive.

4. For the protection of issued Cryptographic equipment and materials that are utilised to provide effective Communications using CIS equipment.

5. Other tasks as directed by the RSI/RSWO. 

Essential competencies

1. Class 1 Signaller

2. IT Literate

3. Good communicator

4. Full Cat B Licence

Desirable competencies

1. RLC or R Signals

2. Recent military service

3. JAMES experience

4. Literacy & Numeracy Level 2

5. Class 2 Driver (C, C+E)
