Job Description

A vacancy has arisen for a Wing Commander (Any) to serve as SO1 Capability and Training within Aerospace Medicine Training Wing (AMTW) at the RAF Centre of Aerospace Medicine, RAF Henlow on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 01 September 2026 (or earlier/later, subject to candidate status).

SO1 Capability and Training is responsible to CO RAF CAM for leading and coordinating RAF CAM capability development and training, ensuring alignment with Defence tasks and future workforce requirements. The role oversees delivery of key capability projects, assures training quality and relevance, manages stakeholder engagement, and provides leadership of personnel to support effective and credible operational outputs.
