Job Description

Army Reserve post, flexibility to work late nights, weekends and exercises up to 2 weeks. RSD requirement commensurate with the duties of the post subject to any ongoing restrictions.

Role: 

The Regtl OPs Officer is responsible directly to the Regtl 2IC and CO for the effective delivery of outputs in accordance with Regtl priorities. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Key responsibilities are as follows: 

    1. Member of Regt Ops Team, will work alongside Reg and Res Ops Staff.

    2. To work with Regt YofS for Operational and Exercise planning.

    3. Responsible for training policy and relevant advice to the CO and Regt Comd Team.

    4. Responsible along with Regt YofS for Battlespace Management.

    5. Responsible for overseeing Reserve Trade Training and related policy across the Regiment.

    6. Work alongside Regtl Ops Team for FOE and Screening.

    7. Liaison Officer for RPOC JRLO.

    Essential Skills

    Reg FofS or YofS Course is ideal, however Res equivalent and experience is acceptable.
