Job Description

Responsibilities:
1. Lead the LWC Historical Analysis (HA) cell and prioritise/coordinate HA outputs.
2. Analyse historical ops/trg to derive relevant ‘Lessons Identified’ iot influence Fd Army WARDEV priorities.
3. Incorporate key trends, observations and recommendations derived from HA into LXC lessons output.
4. Influence Army policy for use of relevant history – with emphasis on engagement with fmn HQs and units to advise the planning of Battlefield Studies to ensure they study the planning and conduct of doctrinal tactical activities and the employment of combined arms groupings.
5. Supervise development of the Army Historical Exchange.
6. Represent DLW as the Fd Army BS SME.
7. Lead liaison and collaboration with relevant (mil, allied and civ) research and analysis agencies, and academia
8. BPT conduct other tasks as directed by AH Lessons.
