Job Description

A vacancy has arisen for a Sqn Ldr (Medical Services – Accredited Consultant) to serve as the Flight Medical Officer within the RAF Air Cadets (RAFAC), RAF Cranwell, on Volunteer ex-Regular Reserve (90) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 29 June 2026 (or earlier/later, subject to candidate status).

Providing specialist aviation medicine advice, safety support and training assurance across RAFAC flying and gliding activity. The role requires a flexible commitment of an average of one to two days per week, supporting the safe and effective delivery of aviation experiences for cadets and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAVs), with the intention for the appointment to begin at the earliest opportunity.
