Job Description

Domestic Considerations: All leave days catered for during ICSC timetable.  When in student facing roles these coincide with term dates. During periods of course development there are considerable freedoms to work flexibly.

Position Role:  Motivate, train, teach, educate, mentor and lead student officers on ICSC(L) and ICSC(LR) courses.

Responsibilities:
1.  Prepare and motivate majors for staff and command appointments: expand their analytical skills, professional knowledge and understanding of Defence.

2.  Act as instructor mentor; develop students' innovation,flexibility, adaptability and communication skills.

3.  Monitor and assess student performance, provide guidance, feedback and detailed student reports.

4.  Develop exercises and/or modules to maintain course material relevance in line with the latest best practice.

5.  Maintain currency with the latest Field Army evolutions, operational lessons, experimentation and research.
