Caretaker

Police Scotland's purpose is to improve the safety and wellbeing of people, places and communities. We believe our people are our most important asset and investing in them is fundamental to the success of introducing new and emerging solutions and support to our front-line. Your role will be to provide a critical caretaker service within allocated Police Scotland buildings as required by undertaking various tasks as directed by the Facilities Officer (or Senior Caretaker), which may include, but not be limited to, maintenance, porterage, cleaning and general security duties to ensure a safe and secure working environment for staff and the public. Key responsibilities of the role include; Carry out daily inspections of all plant and plant rooms to ensure that heating, ventilation and hot water systems are running normally and efficiently.
