Job Description

SO2 Training Infrastructure Maritime

Unit Role: Provide soft and hard Infra capability for UK DTE and Overseas locations in order to meet Defence’s operational and training requirements.

Position Role: Maritime Infra SME and single Service representative within the UK & Overseas Defence Training Estate (DTE) to assure effective delivery.

1. Represent Navy to ensure their Infra requirements are met for UK DTE. This includes the annual and long-term programmes for Maintain, Sustain and Minor Change.

2. Review and assure DIO performance for delivery of the programmes of works as agreed in the CIDP, with a focus on Navy Infra requirements.

3. Provide a conduit to identify early warnings or emerging capability gaps in Infra required by Navy.

4. Act as the OTIC Risk Manager ensuring clarity of DTE risks and issues with mitigation are reported to the RC Risk Manager as required.
