Job Description

NAVY COMMAND PRINCIPAL SECURITY ADVISER


 Defence Requirement:

The Principal Security Advisor (PSyA) supports the TLB Holder and Senior Security Risk Coordinator (SSRC) by ensuring TLB and Defence security requirements are being met by:

    • Leading the strategic direction and delivery of security advice and assurance at top level budget (TLB) level.
    • Strategic oversight of security and resilience management activity across the TLB, ensuring compliance with policy as implemented within the context of risk-based security management.
    • Monitoring the effectiveness of security services being delivered by Departmental and external agencies.

The Role:


The Navy PSyA, through COS Navy (as Navy SSRC), assures 2SL and the Navy Board of the effectiveness of security standards and security risk management across Navy Command by:
