Job Description

Position Role

The Motor Transport Warrant Officer (MTWO) is the Commanding Officer's principal advisor on all Road Transport (RT) and Equipment Care (EC) matters relating to the operation, management and governance of the unit's vehicle fleet. The post holder is responsible for the assurance of road transport compliance across 103 Battalion REME and affiliated units, ensuring adherence to JSP 800, LEUMS, Equipment Care policy, Defence Road Transport regulations and higher formation directives.

The MTWO provides oversight of fleet management, driver competence, transport safety and vehicle availability, ensuring that robust systems are in place to support operational readiness and collective training outputs. The MTWO coordinates transport management activities across the Battalion and acts as the primary liaison with Brigade and external agencies on vehicle management, driver policy and Road Transport governance matters.
