Job Description

SO1b Dev provides the lead for oversight of Defence Operational Energy Strategy implementation and Operational Energy Authority evolution through the Energy Transition as a job share with SO1a Dev.

• Manage the governance and progress the implementation of the Defence Operational Energy Strategy (DOES).
• Working to OEA Futures, develop the Operational Energy Authority (OEA) structures and governance as required as the Energy Transition progresses.  
• Liaise with key energy transition stakeholders including NATO, Allies/Partners, DE&S, FMC, CEE, FLCs, OGDs and DSTL as required to progress the DOES. 
• Contribute to other CDLS tasking as appropriate and by arrangement.
• Line manage OF3/C2 and below as required. 

Essential Skills

DLSC or other MSc Logs
ACSC including ACSC (Reserves)
Experience of working in Joint Logistics
Energy Transition experience

Desirable Skills

FinMilCap - P3M or Cap& Acq Practitioner Course.
Experience working in or with MOD
