Job Description

Position Role: SO1 Pol Ops is employed within the APC Optimisation Branch which comprises c.80 SME Civil Servant and Mil staff delivering outputs through People, Policy, Process, Digital and Data. Role is focussed on identification, development and implementation of initiatives to optimise Career Management policy and process. The post is Routine but does assume responsibility for the management and delivery of significant and complex change programmes
within the APC.

Responsibilities:
 
1.Influence the development of sS and Defence Pers Policies which have CM implications through working groups, papers and direct engagement.
2.Propose, develop and implement changes to CM policy and process to improve the experience of CM professionals and Service Personnel.
3.Integrate the delivery of CM policy initiatives with complementary optimisation pillars of People, Process, Digital and Data.
4.Principle staff officer for high profile, quick turnaround CM Policy issues…
