Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
1.  Provide advice and guidance on all Welfare matters to the CO and the CoC
2.  Delivery of routine welfare provision through programmed briefings to CICs and Trg Teams
3.  Direct support to the Chain of Command in coordination of responsive welfare provision
4.  Maintain, monitor and oversee the Trainees and Permanent Staffs TRIM, POSM and WISMIS and (TAPS) Welfare Register
5.  Facilitate the welfare of PSs and recruits including the coordination, liaison, provision of the link between the Unit and external welfare
6. Maintain the SVRM register, lead risk assessments associated with potentially venerable recruits and permanent staff
7. Deliver briefings to gatekeepers (parents & guardians), usually a monthly weekend duty. PoC for Safeguarding of U18s and Vulnerable Adults
8. Interview recruits departing early regarding potential welfare issues that are de-motivators
