Unit Function

The Training Management Group is a joint RN-industry organisation, providing the basis of a Whole Force approach to RN individual training delivery. The TMG is accountable for the effective and efficient governance, control and commercial delivery of the Selborne contract.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for arranging Weapon Engineering EPAs between the MIAA and Units.

 

  • Liaise with and support Unit Assessors and Training Coordinators in the delivery of Weapon Engineering EPAs.

 

  • Quality assure and approve all Weapon Engineering EPA outcomes.

 

  • Conduct physical IQA observations on 5–10% of all Weapon Engineering EPAs across various locations.

 

  • Maintain and regularly update the IQA Sampling Plan.

 

  • Support the MIAA WO in coordinating the MIAA Administrators' delivery of EPA documentation to Units.
