Job Description

Due to retirement, two Investigation Officer vacancies has arisen at the OF3 level to conduct investigations into Army Service Complaints.

This posts is available under Voluntary Employment ex Regular Reserves (VeRR) terms of service and is suited to someone seeking the flexibility of part-time work for up to 90 days pa, potentially as part of a portfolio career. The initial contract will be for 12 months but can be extended in accordance with Reserve Land Forces Regulations up to the age of 65. Maximum age at time of acceptance is 60 years old.

The post sits within the Service Complaints Investigation Team (SCIT) which is the internal investigative branch of the Army Service Complaints Secretariat, based in Andover. Working primarily from home, Investigation Officers conduct impartial factual investigations of Service Complaints submitted by serving or retired Service Personnel as directed and in accordance with JSP 831 and other extant policy.
