Job Description

FOST DUTY OPERATION OFFICER TO FLEET OPERATIONAL STANDARDS and TRAINING (FOST(S))

Duty Operations Officer (DOPS) is responsible to the SO2 Operations (SO2OPS) for the safe and effective execution of FOST(S)’s Weekly Practice Programme (WPP).

 

Superiors

 

Accountability. The DOPS is accountable to SO2 OPS for his principal and secondary tasks. SO2 OPS will acts as the 1RO and FAVO as the 2RO the DOPS.

 

Subordinates

 

The DOPS will act in a supervisory capacity for the Duty Operations Assistant (DOPSA) who, is to assist the DOPS in the execution of their duties as laid down in the DOPSA’s TORs. The DOPS may be called upon to provide performance assessment / information to the DOPSA’s (civilian) Line Manager to assist in their career management.
