Job Description

Domestic Considerations: RSDs: 27 days with possibility of further being issued. Evening and weekend work required.


Post Role: COMMS OP DET CPL


Responsibilities:

1. To provide CIS Communications support within a HQ environment at unit and/or sub-unit level.

2. Provide Communications Training in support of the Sqn/Regt.

3. Manage the Sqn Signals Store and maintain the equipment as per the Unit Equipment Care Directive.

4. The protection of issued Cryptographic equipment and materials that are utilised to provide effective Communications using CIS equipment.

5. Other tasks as directed by the RSI/RSWO. 

Essential Skills

1. Class 1 Signaller

2. IT Literate

3. Good communicator

4. Full Cat B Licence

Desirable Skills

1. RLC or R Signals

2. Recent military service

3. JAMES experience

4. Literacy & Numeracy Level 2

5. Class 2 Driver (C, C+E)
