Job Description

Domestic Considerations: RSDs: 27 days with possibility of further being issued. Evening and weekend work required.


Post Role: Driver Comms Spec


Responsibilities:

1. Ensure Level 1 maintenance and fault reporting for Unit FFRs assets is conducted and recorded in UMI Det folders.

2. To operate and provide Communications in support of their commander’s main effort, utilising Communication Information Systems (CIS).

3. For the correct, safe use and handling of all issued CIS equipment required to effectively communicate.

4. Responsible for operating within a Sqn Detachment.

5. Other tasks as directed by the RSI/RSWO. 

Essential Skills

1. Class 3 or 2 Basic Signaller

2. RLC or R Signals

3. IT Literate

4. Good communicator

5. Full Cat B Licence

Desirable Skills

1. Recent military service

2. JAMES experience

3. Literacy & Numeracy Level 1
