Head of HR - up to £60,000 DOE + Benefits - Bristol (Hybrid)

The Role

As the Head of HR / Head of People, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing People initiatives, nurturing internal culture, supporting professional development, and fostering an environment where everyone can achieve their full potential. You will be responsible for:

        • Leading the People team, overseeing the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring a responsive, compliant, people centric approach
        • Developing and implementing People strategy
        • Maintaining and developing a positive organisational culture, delivering on strategic priorities and values
        • Developing close working relationships with management teams to provide proactive, commercially focused People solutions
        • Partnering with senior managers to identify and meet their wider people and strategic needs
        • Measuring the success of People solutions and services in contributing to effectiveness, compliance, efficiency, and attainment of overall objectives
        • Analysing data relating to people management practice, spot trends and highlight issues for consideration and / or change
        • Act as a change agent to drive culture and practice to build the workplace of the future

The Company

Our client is a family-owned specialist recovery and accommodation services business in the Southwest. They specialise in providing community-based solutions to people with diagnosed mental health conditions or complex, unmet needs. They pride themselves in offering bespoke and individual support and accommodation packages.

The Person

As Head of HR / Head of People you will have a proven track record of driving HR initiatives in a regulatory environment with evidence of successful generalist experience at this level in a dynamic organisation working across the full employee lifecycle. You will have:

        • MCIPD qualification (or proven equivalent)
        • In-depth UK employment law knowledge
        • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
        • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
        • Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solutions- orientated mindset
        • Advanced skills in the use of software and microsoft 365 package
