Task requirements
Position Role: One of 2 ARITC staff officers responsible for Army Reserve Recruiting Assurance and Army Reserve Unit Recruiting Support. Post will be required to support and assure 91 Reserve Units across the UK. Responsibilities: 1. Plan, co-ordinate and document Army Competent Authority & Inspectorate (ACA&I) recruiting assurance activity & advisory visits. 2. Act as the SME, representative & POC for all AR Recruiting Assurance matters to AR units, Formations and RPOCs. 3. Conduct 2 LODA visits to AR Units and as required undertake assurance taskings. 4. Liaise with and brief RPOC or Formation and Unit HQs on AR recruiting matters. 5. Support to planning & management of ARRAT workshops, meetings & external activities held in their AOR. 6. Regularly update SO2 Reserve Recruiting of tactical AR Recruiting activities. 7. Oversee the drafting of Unit Assurance Visit Reports and undertake quality control editing. 8. Deliver Training and Support to AR units to uplift their Recruiting Capability and Governance structure around Recruitment. 9. Tasks and assignments as directed by AH Reserve Recruiting and AH Recruiting. |

Additional information
Domestic Considerations: Remote working or working from HQ ARITC in Upavon, when not conducting assurance visits as per assurance plan. Incumbent is required to travel throughout the UK (up to 35 nights separated service per year) to visit AR units and sub-units as required. Visits can be several days in length. Working mainly Mon to Fri with evenings and weekends as required/tasked. |
