Task requirements

Responsibilities: 
1. Produce a coherent, well recruited Battery, trained to a level and proficiency directed by CO 106 (Y) Regt RA.
2. Carry out the duties of an HVM Battery Commander and maintain the sub-unit equipment liability.
3. Plan and execute career development, administration and welfare programmes for every officer/soldier under command.
4. Act as a subject matter expert on AD matters and provide AD advice within and outside the chain of command, especially at Formation level.
5. Plan and organise individual and collective training to maintain the operational readiness of the Battery.
6. Promote a positive image of the Battery within the local community.
7. Establish and maintain close links with RHQ, local RFCA, Civic Authorities and Employers. 
8. Achieve all ITRs and CT level as directed.
9. Control and be responsible for the adherence throughout the Battery to the Health and Safety rules and the Human Rights' Act.
10. Maintain the discipline of the Bty through military law and by ensuring that all ranks conduct themselves in accordance with the British Army V&S.
