Task requirements

Domestic Considerations: In accordance with FTRS (LC), fulfilling a range of duties in one assigned location, with limited liability for role-related compulsory Separated Service in the UK or overseas (including operational theatres) for up to 35 days in one year, with no single period of Separated Service typically lasting in excess of 21 days. [Will have liability for compulsory Separated Service to complete mandated training courses necessary for the current post (or future progression) which does not contribute to the 35 days]. There are no limits on voluntary Separated Service.
Position Role:QM MTO in a UOTC to deliver leadership development for selected students through military training, adventure training, personal, intellectual and social development physical training and sports. On behalf of the Army, it is to engage with higher education institutes to support Regional Command civil engagement and contribute to Army inflow.
Responsibilities:
1.  Lead the G4 team to support and enable all OCdt training. Advise the CO on all matters G4.
2.  Conduct routine G4 assurance checks and lead on all external assurance inspections.
3.  Lead on all SHEF matters (includes unit safety and fire) and unit advisor to CO
4.  Military Transport Officer and unit advisor to CO.
5.  Line manage RQMS, ARes G4 NCOs and 3 x Civil Servants (Caretaker, Store Person and Driver).
6.  Liaise with RFCA NI to coordinate infrastrature maintainence and improvements.
7.  Support training and other commitments as directed by the CO.

Essential competencies

QM Cse (Must have completed QM Cse prior to appointment and have prior G4 stores experience (QM/RQMS))
