Task requirements
1. MJDI administrator and principal MJDI Account holder and adviser for all G4 responsibilities. 2. Manage the day to day routine of all G4 procedures across the Unit. 3. Organising and controlling C2K logistic courses in the Unit. 4. Input and assist the QM for all relevant mandatory inspections. 5. Organising and assisting in Unit functions and events specified by the QM. 6. Manage and oversee the OTC 1st line commodity accounts ammo, eqpt, maintenance, loan, ration and accommodation. 7. Control all Unit infrastructure and facilities management matters in ARC Beeston. 8. Fulfils the responsibility of Unit Safety Advisor. 9. Unit Health, Safety, Environment and Fire Trainer. 10. Unit Food Safety Officer, responsible for managing all aspects of food safety including production and updating of unit food safety orders, monthly and 3 monthly food safety inspections. 11. Unit Fire Safety Manager, responsible for all aspects of fire safety including mandatory monthly inspections fire exits, extinguishers, fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire doors production and updating of unit fire safety orders and management of unit fire diary. 12. AR Road responsible for all ammunition related movements paperwork, training and qualifying unit personnel as drivers and escorts, production and updating of unit ammunition orders (Requirement in camp, on weekend exercises, annual camps and OTX). 13. Radiation protection supervisor responsible for management of unit items that contain tritium including carrying out Risk Assessments and producing and updating unit radiation safety orders other relevant safety orders and monthly inspections. 14. Unit Ammunition Storeman (Requirement in camp, on weekend exercises, annual camps and OTX). 15. Unit Dangerous Goods Consignor (Requirement in camp, on weekend exercises, annual camps and OTX). 16. Unit Environmental Protection Officer. 17. Line management responsibilities for all military and civilian G4 personnel 18.Must be available to deploy on Summer Camp and to support all other Unit deployments |
Essential competencies
MUST be qualified in the following: RQMS Cse SHE Cse Unit Ammo Storeman AR Road MJDI Administrator Dangerous Goods Surface Dangerous Goods Air Radiation Protection Supervisor Unit Fire Manager Level 3 Food Safety Supervisor Care of Trainee EMSAS Defence Extinguisher and Maintainer Unit Fire Trainer Waste Management Energy Management I.T literate - MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint used routinely Should have extensive service as a RQMS/Log Sp background in an All Arms environment. |
Desirable competencies
Desirable quals: DLE Utility Consumption First Aid at Work Risk Assessor Trainer SRM Trainer Desirable competencies: Cat C Manual Handling Instructor DSE Assessor Experience/knowledge of the Army Reserves and workign within a phase 1 or UOTC environment (desirable). |
