Task requirements
Domestic considerations: Warminster based. Some UK travel for meeting and photo/video production required. Position Role: HQ Infantry recruiting lead in support of Recruiting Group and Officer Commanding of the Infantry Engagement Team, c.84 SP OR2 – OF2. Conduct Army Awarenss Activity, A&S days and Potential Infantry Officer Visits. Manage Infantry soldier inflow and allocation on behalf of Col Infantry and in conjunction with Workforce Plans. Develop and implement Engage to Recruit initiatives on behalf of the Infantry. Responsibilities: 1. Principal staff officer for Inf Recruiting Policy. 2. Maintain Infantry Intelligence Preparation of the Recruiting Environment (IPRE). 3. Deliver & Monitor and, co-ordinate Inf IET activity - including support to high profile national events. 4. Manage all SP’s with the IET ORBAT, including MS, Welfare, Disciple etc, within the 5 AO’s. 5. Manage production of Inf marketing collateral with RG. 6. Maintain a current database of Infantry soldier and officer case studies to support RG and Div marketing. 7. In conjunction with Inf WF, monitor RAP and ITC output. 8. Identify and engage with all Inf personnel posted to ARITC at ACCs and NRC and to Outreach Teams. 9. Engage with all key RG personnel to maintain mutual understanding of performance, issues and concerns. 10. Manage officer candidates on behalf of HQ Inf on DRS (and replacement IT system) and ensure Inf Divs have visibility of soldier candidates. 11. Represent the Infantry at CET level. 12. Maintain a consolidated IET and Op FORTIFY FOE to aid coordination between regiments and RoMs. 13. Deliver HQ Inf presentation. 14. Deliver and monitor SSS and RMS to AC and ACCs. 15. Assist in all aspects of the implementation of the IRP. 16. Produce BCs for the resourcing of IETs. 17. Act as the Inf SPSO. 18. Assume lead for Infantry Inflow and engagement with stakeholders, including updates to the process and associated OSW. 19. Manage the Target Operating Model (TOM)/New Ways of Working (NWOW) and Time of Flight (ToF) implementation to maximise Inf Recruiting particularly that from the Devolved Nations. 20. Lead in delivery of Army Awareness Activity (AAA) and deconfliction/understanding of event purpose with ITC/ARITC. 21. Highlight critical issues in infantry workforce numbers – eg F&C numbers and allocation. 22. Manage and action all Annex A&B Cap Badge Change requests from AFC(H) and ITC. 23. Assume the lead for the Potential Infantry Officers Familiarisation Visit (PIOFV) 24. Assume the lead for the Arms & Service Day event at RMAS & AFC(H) |
